Saddle Club    $15 dues collected each meeting

On the 1st and 3rd Saturdays each month a very special group of horse and pony lovers come together with Liberty Hill’s knowledgeable and passionate staff to explore and become inspired by all that our equine friends have to teach us.  Some topics covered are: equine professions, training methods, planning field trips and talking about horses that help humans and about some horses that may need our help too.  We may “fun”draise once a year and use proceeds to fund our learning experiences as well as donating a portion to equine rescues. We will work together to help spread awareness about horse rescues and other charitable horse-related events. We’ll come together and  help our horse lovers to discover success and confidence to follow wherever their dreams will take them! Planning and adventuring together on horse related field trips will broaden our equine experience beyond the perimeters of LHF. Qualified members may also choose to work with our City To Saddle friends on certain weeks during summer sessions. Appropriate for ages 7-14.  No riding experience required.

Please contact Kelly, Jamie or Rachel to sign up for Saddle Club!  Attendance is not required at every meeting, come when you can! All are welcome!

Winter, Spring & Summer Vacation Day Sessions   $50 per day

Liberty Hill Farm runs fun and educational vacation day sessions for beginner and intermediate riders ages 7-14. Our day sessions build a solid foundation in horsemanship, riding and safety. You’ll have age appropriate, hands on instruction about the finer details of horse care, riding, training and stable management, with group riding lessons, divided by ability.  We get new riders off to the right start and challenge more experienced riders. Our sessions run during selected weeks in December, January, March, April, June, July and August. Weekly group sessions are Tuesday – Friday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Certain weeks may be combined in conjunction with participation in a horse show (competition) on Saturdays.

Liberty Hill has been proud to be a host facility for City To Saddle since 2006.

Children, usually from Boston, who are less advantaged, attend week long, daily group lessons to learn about and ride horses, build confidence, self esteem and friendships. Our lives are truly enriched for having these children in our presence and in our hearts.  Tax deductible donations to help support City To Saddle and “give a child a leg up” are always welcome. Please visit www.citytosadde.org to make your contribution today and make a huge difference in a child’s life.  This is a gift that they will carry with them throughout their lives and it may be just the memory that they treasure to see them through difficult times.

Look for summer schedule, next spring.

Please contact Kelly for registration and further details.
